Iowa Soybean Association Interns collect data from on-farm trials

In partnership with Iowa State University, four interns have been working for the Iowa Soybean Association this summer. The four interns have collected data from over 65 field trials throughout the summer; this data includes plant stand and spacing from population, planter downforce, Intego seed treatment and row spacing trials. They have also collected soil samples to test cyst numbers in Clariva seed treatment trials along with tissue samples from Lime trials.

The interns have also assisted with data collection and trial management on ISU field projects, such as depodding on green stem syndrome project and assisting at the Field Extension Education Laboratory.
