A (somewhat) normal May

Crop planting progress went well in Iowa, but the month provided a rocky last half for nearly everyone in the state. Heavy deluges in broad bands the weekend of May 22-24 caused low areas that still require replanting. The good part of that is that we are early enough to allow for crop replant decisions.
