Christine Engelbrecht joined the Plant Disease Clinic staff on May 10th. Christine recently completed the requirements for a PhD in the Department of Plant Pathology at Iowa State University. Her research centered on the fungus Ceratocystis fimbriata, a relative of the oak wilt fungus.

Christine grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, and received her B.S. in Biology from West Virginia Wesleyan College.
