Japanese Beetle Distribution Update

We continue to track the expansion of the known distribution of the Japanese beetle, Popillia japonica in Iowa.  Below is our map showing previous confirmations in red and 9 new county records established this year in blue.

Can you confirm the presence of JB in any of the white counties?  If so, please let me know with an email to drlewis@iastate.edu describing what you saw this summer.
