New Publication on Imidacloprid InsecticideThis article was published originally on 3/23/2011
A new fact sheet jointly authored by entomologists from the Ohio State University, University of Minnesota and Michigan State University addresses frequently asked questions about potential side effects of systemic insecticides, especially imidacloprid. Imidacloprid is currently used for several common pests including Japanese beetle adults that defoliate linden trees, and will be used to control emerald ash borer in the event it is discovered within the mainland of Iowa.
