Pruning Raspberries

Late winter to early-spring is the time to prune raspberries so you can enjoy lots of good-sized berries in the coming summer and fall. Pruning procedures are based on the growth and fruiting characteristics of the plants. See the ISU Extension & Outreach Yard & Garden news release from February 16, 2012 to learn how raspberries should be properly pruned.
