ICM review course for agribusiness professionals

Iowa State University Extension is offering a program to prepare you for the Certified Crop Advisors (CCA) examination. The course, which is presented in part on videotape, covers topics that address the Iowa and National CCA performance objectives, such as soil and water management, soil fertility, crop production, and pest management.

If you enroll, you will view a total of 24 hours of assigned videotapes and read support materials at your convenience before set meeting times. Four review sessions will be held at outlying locations during December and January. We will select sites based on the location of participants to make courses convenient and decrease your driving time. Each session will feature area crop specialists who will review the assigned topic and present sample questions and answers that will enhance your understanding of the educational materials.

The program fee is $300, which includes the cost of the written support materials, videotapes, and interactive programming. Please do not share the tapes with people who have not registered for the course. If you have registered for a course in the past and would like to attend the review sessions again, you are welcome at no fee (please mark "repeat attendance" box in registration form). To register, complete the form below and mail it with your check, payable to ISU. For additional information, call 515-294-6429. Students registered by November 10 will be considered in site selection. The tapes will be mailed as soon as your registration and check are received.
