Check out weed management on the Internet

Iowa producers, crop managers and ISU Extension staff now have a new resource for up-to-the-minute weed management information. The weed management team in ISU Agronomy Extension has developed a new Internet site on the World Wide Web, which can be found at http://www.agron.iastate.edu/extweeds/

Using the Internet allows ISU Extension specialists to quickly respond to specific weed management questions, particularly during the growing season. The site currently contains many articles written by the ISU weed specialists. Other sections include commentaries on weed topics found in the press, and links to many other popular agronomic and weed science resources.

During the winter season the site will continue to expand and improve. More weed management publications also will become available on the World Wide Web for viewing and downloading. Graphics sections also will be added to assist in weed identification and diagnosis of herbicide injury symptoms.

The page also can also be accessed through the ISU Extension home page/Departments and Units, and from ISU's Integrated Pest Management home page at: http://www.ipm.iastate.edu/ipm/

Check out this new information resource and let us know if you have any comments or suggestions.
