Mark your calendar for August 21, 6:30 p.m., when Iowa State University Extension will sponsor a Precision Ag Field Day. Attendees will receive an overview of the procedures and equipment being used in precision agriculture, and ISU researchers will hold discussions of their research initiatives. The event will be held come rain or shine at the Ron Heck farm near Perry. Travel to the Heck farm by going south of Hwy. 30 for 6.2 miles on Hwy. 169. Then go 2.5 miles west of Hwy. 169 on 290th Street.
The new research project funded by the Iowa Soybean Promotion Board is dedicated to exploring precision agriculture.
