Pesticide applicators are invited to register for an upcoming satellite workshop on grain fumigation. Participants can attend at any one of more than 50 county extension offices that will downlink the program. Call the county office for the nearest site.

The workshop will be Tuesday, August 27, 1:30-3:45 p.m. It will focus on steps required for safe fumigation and regulations. A portion of the program will be devoted to audience questions. Commercial and private pesticide applicators certified in Category 7C (fumigation) can receive continuing instructional course credits.

Registration is $25 if paid on or before August 23, and $30 thereafter. Participants must register with the county where they plan to attend, and make checks payable to that county. You must be seated before 1:30 p.m. to receive credit.
