1998 Ag chemical dealer updates
|
Updates for ag chemical dealers will be held at 12 locations in Iowa from mid-November through early December. These meetings review crop production problems experienced during the previous growing season to help prepare for potential problems in 1999. Iowa State University Extension specialists discuss pest management techniques, including the performance of chemical products in field research trials. Each of the 12 meetings is an approved continuing instructional course for pesticide applicators certified in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10. Also, certified crop advisor (CCA) continuing education units (CEUs) are available. The CCA CEUs vary by location. The preregistration fee is $30 until 5 days prior to the meeting. The registration fee within 5 days prior to the meeting is $50. A brochure will be mailed at a later date.
