The second tour of the Northeast Research Farm, designed especially for ag professionals, is scheduled for July 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Ken Pecinovsky, farm superintendent, and extension crops specialists will conduct the tour and share observations on crop growth and development, soil fertility, and pest management. Water quality plots, nitrogen management, and European corn borer and corn rootworm control will be emphasized. CCA continuing education credits have been requested. Preregistration is not required. The tours are free and open to the public.
