A Manure Nutrient Management Demonstration Plot Tour will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday June 23 at the Dave Pepper farm, Boone County, Iowa. The plot clearly demonstrates the value of manure in crop production. The plot was set up in the fall of 1996 and planted to corn in 1997, soybeans in 1998, and corn in 1999. Two different rates of manure were applied in the fall and spring, along with commercial nitrogen in the spring. Yield and other data will be compared during the tour.

The plot is located on Highway E-18, 3 miles east of the intersection of Highways 17 and E-18, on the north side of the road.
