Crop tour for ag professionals

A crop tour for ag professionals is scheduled for July 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Northeast Research Farm near Nashua. Extension crops specialists and Ken Pecinovsky, farm superintendent, will host the tour and share observations and experiences related to crop growth and development, soil fertility, and pest management problems as they develop across the area. They also will review the various research projects underway on the farm and discuss some of the new technologies that are or soon will be available. CCA continuing education credits have been requested.

The Northeast Research Farm is located 1 mile south and 1.5 miles west of Nashua. The tour is free and open to the public. Preregistration is not required. Questions about the tour should be directed to me at 515-228-1453. Please extend this invitation to others who would find this tour of interest.
