Update meetings for ag chemical dealers will be held at 11 locations in Iowa during December. These meetings review crop production problems experienced during the previous growing season and help prepare for the potential problems in 2001. Iowa State University Extension specialists discuss disease, pest, and weed management techniques, including the performance of chemical products in field research trials.

Each of the 11 meetings is an approved continuing instructional course for pesticide applicators certified in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10. Certified crop advisor (CCA) continuing education units (CEUs) are available. The CCA CEUs vary by location. The preregistration fee is $30 until 5 days prior to the meeting. The registration fee within 5 days of the meeting is $50.
