2001 Ag chemical dealer updates
|
Update meetings for ag chemical dealers will be held at 11 locations in Iowa during November and December. These meetings review crop production problems experienced during the 2001 growing season and to help prepare for the potential problems in 2002. Iowa State University Extension specialists discuss disease, pest, and weed management techniques, including the performance of chemical products in field research trials. Each of the 11 meetings is an approved continuing instructional course for pesticide applicators certified in categories 1A, 1B, 1C, and 10. Certified crop adviser (CCA) continuing education units (CEUs) are available. The CCA CEUs vary by location. The preregistration fee is $40 until 5 days before the meeting. The registration fee within 5 days of the meeting is $60. A brochure will be mailed at a later date. If you are not currently on the Agribusiness Education Program (AEP) mailing list and would like to be included, please check our website and click on the mail list to register your address.
