Northeast research farm silver anniversary field day

Attend the Silver Anniversary Field Day at the Northeast Research Farm near Nashua on June 26. Dr. Norman E. Borlaug, northeastern Iowa native and Nobel Peace Prize winner, will deliver the keynote address at this special field day. Numerous exhibits, field plot tours, and activities for youth are planned. A program featuring various speakers will recognize leaders responsible for the establishment and success of the research farm, showcase research projects conducted on the farm and increase awareness of their relevance to the people of northeastern Iowa, and chart a course for the future of northeastern Iowa agriculture.
