First issue of 2006 ICM newsletter will focus on aphids

The first issue of the ICM Newsletter for 2006 will focus on the soybean aphid in Iowa. This issue is being produced to provide producers with the latest information about soybean aphids and help them make plans for the 2006 growing season.

Topics being covered in the January issue include a review of the soybean aphid in 2005; effects of insecticides on beneficial insects from 2005 Iowa State University research; foliar insecticide/fungicide tank mixing; observations and experiences with soybean aphid from 2005 experiments; educational resources available from Iowa State University Extension for soybean aphid; reduced cost of insecticides for aphid control; and insecticide trial yield data from 2005 experiments.

If you haven't done so already, be sure to renew your ICM Newsletter subscription for 2006. A subscription form is available.
