Three training sessions designed to help prepare individuals for the commercial pesticide applicator examinations will be offered in eastern Iowa.
The training sessions will cover the Iowa Core Manual and categories 1A (Agricultural Weed Management), 1B (Agricultural Insect Control), 1C (Ag Diseases), 3O,T, and G (Ornamental, Turf, and Greenhouse Pest Management), and 6 (Right-of-Way). Training on the Iowa Core Manual will run from 9 -10:30 a.m. and individual category training will take place from 10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
The dates and locations for the training sessions are:
- Monday, Feb. 9, Montgomery Hall, Johnson County Fairgrounds, Iowa City
- Monday, March 1, Iowa State University Extension Scott County Office, 875 Tanglefoot Lane, Bettendorf
- Monday, March 15, Iowa State University Extension Des Moines County Office, 900 Osborn Street, Burlington
