ISA Online screen shotThe University of Illinois, in cooperation with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), developed an Internet resource that provides current research-based plant health care (PHC) and integrated pest management (IPM) information to landscape professionals and the public. The resource, entitled "ISA On-Line," supports individuals in the landscape industry who are developing or implementing IPM and PHC programs and provides a communication forum for those with Internet access. ISA On-Line is part of a comprehensive program designed to address the needs determined in a survey of tree landscape professionals. The regional program was developed by the University of Illinois with academic, government, and private partners in Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana, as well as the International Society of Arboriculture and state professional associations.

ISA On-Line can be accessed using a World Wide Web browser at http://www.ag.uiuc.edu/~isa/. Since its unveiling at the ISA Annual Conference in August 1995, the service has been accessed close to 6,000 times from 21 different countries.
