About the National Integrated Pest Management Network

Integrated Pest Management promotes minimized pesticide use, enhanced environmental stewardship, and sustainable systems. This is achieved by protection of commodities with environmentally and economically sound practices and results in abundant and diverse supplies of food and fiber products

The National Integrated Pest Management Network (NIPMN) is the result of a public-private partnership dedicated to making the latest and most accurate information on pest management available on the World Wide Web. The members of NIPMN include universities, government agencies, and industry and have agreed to a set of standards which ensure science-based, unbiased pest management information. For more information on NIPMN, contact Ron Stinner (919-515-1648). For North Central Regional information, contact John VanDyk.

Search Engine/Meta Tag Initiative

At Iowa State University, we are currently developing a NIPMN search engine for use by all of the regional, state and national NIPMN sites.

Help us test the new search engine! (or use the old one).(Disclaimer: this is a beta! Be prepared for strange or no results as we work on it.)

To view the NIPMN meta tag specifications for including your documents in searches with this search engine, click here.

If you would like to participate in this project, please contact John VanDyk.

We are also working on a NIPMNizer which will ease the task of adding META tags to your documents by generating the HTML code for you from a simple form.
