Field Extension Education Lab Manager, Graduate Research Assistant

I started my plant pathology master's program under Dr. Daren Mueller mid-May of 2020, shortly after graduating from Northwest Missouri State University with a B.S. in Agronomy. I am currently researching and evaluating Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) seed treatments for soybeans as well as environmental risk factors that effect SDS severity and seed treatment efficacy. In the Fall of 2021, I also had the opportunity to undertake a temporary management position at the Field Extension Education Laboratory (FEEL Farm) and collect data on the value of demonstration farms for my thesis. At FEEL farm, we design and maintain demonstration plots that highlight popular row crop management tactics for soil health, crop health, pathogen protection, weed suppression, as well as several other crop related topics.
