The Harrison County Pest Resistance Project will hold a field day Tuesday, July 9th. Join us from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm to observe field trials, which include both herbicide and fungicide trials, at the farm operated by Larry Buss southwest of Logan. This event is free and open to the public.
AMES, Iowa — Harrison County is home to a new project focused on combating weed resistance as part of a statewide pest resistance management program led by Iowa State University.
Larry leads the Iowa Pest Resistance Management Program in Harrison County, which focuses on pest resistance.
“We’ve had the privilege of working with Larry on creation, development and implementation of the Iowa Pest Resistance Management Program for the past four years. Larry has been a leader in the Iowa program from its inception in 2015,” says Evan Sivesind, program manager at ISU.
